(KUTV Top Story) Users of Google Earth can now zoom in for a closer look at some of the most hostile territory in the world, from their own living room.

Google has partnered with legendary Everest climber, Apa Sherpa, who holds the world record for climbing the world’s tallest mountain, 21 times.

Together they’re giving users an unprecedented look at the region surrounding Mt. Everest, including 360 degree imagery and ‘Street View’.
Apa Sherpa, who now calls Draper Utah home, recently guided a Google camera crew through his hometown village in the Khumbu Region of northeastern Nepal.
